Let me introduce myself - I'm Dainty
Well hello there!
Let me introduce myself to ye all. Ma name is Dainty MaCoo and I love to go on a wee adventure or two.
Before I tell you ma story I thought I’d get the boring bits oot of the way.
Ma full name is Dainty MaCoo. I dinnae have a middle name,I think that’s because the family that broke me out of that gift shop in Stonehaven couldn't think of one.
Where however did ma name come fae? Well that family mentioned is Kat the owner of Glitter Babe Gifts, her son Paul and her partner James (who she often refers to in her business as her wee helper).
Anyhoo, They were visiting the Falls of Dochart one day and they were talking about how Paul used to have a wee picture album about his wee turtle that he used to take to places with him. They decided they needed to find a new wee adventure companion so they decided on a wee caramel coloured coo.
They decided they would name it Dainty after the wee penny chews since highland toffee used to be advertised with a picture of a highland coo. So, they began a search for a wee coo that was well a “dainty wee size” as Kat would say.
It took them a few days ,they didn’t find one they liked. But, they persevered. They went to Stonehaven for an early birthday trip for James and that’s where they came across me. I know I know I’m no caramel coloured but because I’m just so adorable they decided that I was their wee Dainty coo.
So this begins ma story. I was freed from a shelf in a wee gift shop in Stonehaven on the 7th of May 2024. Since we dinnae know how long I was sat there I dinnae have an official birthday or age so I’m maybe going to count down my life in days of freedom. So, onto my height . Hmm?! I'm about the size of an adult hand. But, What's that in feet and inches? I haven't a clue.
I'm getting to go on another wee adventure soon so I thought I'd start this wee blog to show you what I'd been up to so far. Kat's going to share a wee photo album on her Glitter Babe Gifts Facebook page so her customers and followers can follow ma wee trips too.
